NFT Minting Site Series — ~₩1B Sold Out, Zero Incidents

Between 2021 and 2023 I shipped minting sites for a string of early-stage startups. Minting is a genre that forgives nothing — the moment a limited drop opens, traffic hits all at once, and on-chain transactions cannot be rolled back. Planning, deployment, operations: every round, handled alone.

The tightest one started with less than 24 hours to launch. I cut initial load with a Gatsby + React static build, ran minting transactions through Express + caver-js, and put the stack on AWS ECS + ALB. 4,500 NFTs sold out in 10 seconds on day one, and both days sold out completely — roughly ₩1 billion combined, zero downtime. The only support ticket type: “it sold out before I could buy.”

Across the entire series, on-chain security incidents: zero. A minting site is proven not when you build it but on the day it opens — and it passed that proof every time.
